Equipment

         
 

Enter basic equipment information, such as the equipment type, serial number, model  number,  manufacturer, and receive date. Specify whether equipment requires special handling. MaintPro™ also notifies you when creating a schedule or work order for this machine.

Equipment records can be stored into the computer. The following information can be stored for each machine:

  • manufacturer or supplier

  • machine model

  • system or location and department

  • serial number

  • equipment or asset description

  • date installed or referential drawing

  • Manage equipment warranties and automatically alert users.
  • Store acquisition information including vendor, PO number and cost.
  • Create equipment hierarchies for easy access and cost roll-ups.
  • Create location hierarchies--in addition to equipment hierarchy.
  • Create system hierarchies--in addition to equipment hierarchy.
  • Create department hierarchies--in addition to equipment hierarchy.
  • Analyze equipment performance statistics.
  • Track and maintain location and status history on equipment and work locations.
  • Identify equipment by both physical and logical use.
  • Maintain detailed equipment specifications.
  • Attach and display BMP, GIF and etc drawings and other external files associated with equipment.
  • Define acceptable operating limits for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
