Cycle Time Reduction Techniques
OBJECTIVE
To
stay competitive, increasingly companies are turning to technology
to achieve an edge on cost, quality and delivery of their product/
services. It is, therefore, critical to keep equipments running at
peak efficiency all the time. This course cum workshop is based on
the Japanese concept of TPM - Total Productive Maintenance.
Equipment in which the company has invested a great deal of money
should not be allowed to break down and stop, nor produce defective
goods. TPM aims to deal with this issue.
The
change from traditional large-lot production to lean manufacturing
requires understanding of reducing cycle time. This course will
share some topics like SMED, one-piece flow and line balancing to
reduce cycle time.
A
comprehensive guide to TPM and Cycle Reduction Management and the
improvement techniques needed to achieve results. You will be able
to bring back improvement ideas from this
workshop.
