Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

OBJECTIVE
Some surveys have shown that maintenance costs are rising faster than production costs. Maintenance have tended to be viewed as a “black hole” where too much money goes with little measurable return. Companies looking for ways to reduce cost and increase productivity are beginning to realize that maintenance offers real opportunity in both areas.

Bad maintenance is responsible for equipment failures, disrupting production schedules, delays in deliveries, and poor product quality. In today competitive marketplace, there is less tolerance for unplanned downtime. Industry is experiencing the pressure of rising costs, foreign competition, and the need to improve work force productivity. Statistics have shown that Preventive Maintenance when properly implemented can minimize equipment and system breakdowns, resulting in a major reduction in total maintenance and operating costs.

This course is a step-by-step implementation of an effective Planning and Scheduling for today’s maintenance.
